Dr. Kiefer is a graduate of Kent State University with a BA in Sociology. His early career focused on chemical dependency counseling, and detox specialist. After many years of counseling he came to believe that there just had to be a better way to improve success rates, and what better way than than radical idea that diet and nutrition, were critical to successful treatment. He transitioned to the medical field as a medical assistant administrating chelation and nutritional IV therapy, colon hydrotherapy, etc. The thirst for natural healing became a personal lifestyle, along with a growing love of organic gardening, and herbal medicine. The next seven years resulted in in a degree in Natural Science, and Naturopathic Medicine Program at Bastyr University. . He continued to integrate natural healing techniques with the chemically dependant population, including thousands struggling with nicotine and food addictions. He is an affiliate chelation therapist credentialed by the International College of Integrative Medicine. He continues to update his skills on a regular basis, which is now a habit he does not want to break.
